Massage Services
Therapeutic Massage30 Minute - $60 • 60 Minute - $80 • 90 Minute - $120
This classic full-body massage uses light to moderate pressure, promising to soothe aching muscles and relieve tension and stress.
Deep Tissue Massage30 Minute - $80 • 60 Minute - $100 • 90 Minutes $140
This full-body massage uses techniques to break up scar tissue and physically break-down some muscle "knots" or adhesions. Therapist will use forearms, elbows, finger tips, and knuckles. They will use long, deep, and slow strokes to get into the different tissue layers. Also, they may do myofascial release techniques, stretching, or trigger point techniques. Some strokes may feel similar to a swedish massage, but deep tissue massage is not a stronger verison of a swedish massage. The overall goal of the deep tissue is to go deep into the tissue layers to help break up knots or adhesions that may cause pain, limit range of motion, and inflammation. Do Deep Tissue Massages Hurt? During some points of the massage you may feel some discomfort as the massage therapist is working on knots and adhesions. But no, the massage should not be painful. If you do feel pain, you should tell your massage therapist. Then they can adjust the techniques or further prep the tissue if the superficial muscles are tense. Please remember that massages don't always have to hurt or make your body sore to be effective. Battling pain with more pain is not true and will be more harmful than good. To get the most out of your massage, please communicate with your massage therapist.
